Please answer the question. I don't want to use Mobil 1 or Castrol. I drive very softly and garage it every winter.

HAhah.. I knew that people were going to give the "You can't afford to keep it running" statement.

Just because Mobil 1 came out of the factory, doesn't mean that I have to use that only oil.

There's lots of oils that are Corvette approved; that means I can use them.

Hmm... Whoever called me a "Chink" is stupid. I'm not even Asian.

Your 6.0 liter LS-2 and mine came with Mobil One from the factory. I buy mine on sale at Wal-Mart. Also I only use AC-Delco oil filters. That way if there is any question about lubrication and future warranty issues there will be receipts and correct fluids. No matter how you drive new synthetic oils protect better take away heat better and if you don't drive often protect engine parts from rusting while sitting better. Quaker State Makes a good Synthetic oil too. AMS-OIL might just be the thing for you.

its just a over priced Chevy motor 5 w30 or 10 w 30 any brand but Pennzoil, building engines for 37 years don't be fooled into Corvette special oil , no such thing oil today is all new API approved unless its a diesel then its non detergent oil. use Valvoline dura blend castrol GTX any major oil company, remember you must have a refinery to make oil ,cause that where gas comes from, it just the additives in the oil that separates's the brands prices, unless its synthetic. the secret is keeping it changed at proper intervels, motor will last and last just keeping it changet, this is fact, dont listen to people says your car cost $$$all oil come from the ground and starts out the same fact the refinery make engine lubracants out of it , look at Nascar say the valvoline car same oil off the shelf you buy and there motors cost $300 thousand dollars,ok trust me keep it changed and kleen and dont go over bord on the price I know .take care

Let us all run out and void the warranty because we over bought on a car and can't afford the upkeep.

You bought the car because you are over compensating? Big hint, Chicks can see through the facade.

Gosh you are the worst stereo-type vette owner. Walmart sells tire to when you need them.

Let me get this straight. You have a ride that cost's 50 G's or more and you want the cheapest sh!t motor oil you can get away with in your 2007 'Vette? How 'bout Wesson cooking oil? You get what you deserve if you do that.
