This mainboard will support the processor in question; you already did all the homework; provided the socket type matches your good to go.

I do not believe the 915 chipset actually support the P4-D
Anyway
Avoid the 805, they are not very efficient, go for the 915/925 for value and lower/better energy management.

Just read the above comments, how on earth can you fit that inside a loptop ? once the heatsink/fan goes on, your laptop will be about 3 inches high, nevermind the size of the board, the day I see PCI slots in a laptop would be an eye opener.

Be careful on S775, just because they are both S775, it doesnt meant they will work, Intel has code for board and CPU ID, such as 4D/4C/5B etc, meaning different generation of S775.

I'm pretty sure that is a laptop motherboard if you didn't already know that. http://Newegg.com is a better and more efficient way of searching for computer parts.

If you already knew that then I'd just go ahead and tell you to get a standard ATX motherboard that supports LGA 775 processors and you should be fine (although newegg.com will give you way more info as far as compatibility)
