If there's two lanes going my direction and someone driving next to me, i slow down until the get in the other lane to pass me, then i speed up and get ahead of the other driver until the tailgator gets behind me again to pass the other guy. i usually keep this going for about 20 minutes...it's great unless the tailgator has a gun

haha I have a great story. yesterday I was at a red light and the truck behind me was super close to my car. so I moved a little bit further to give him some space(i figured it was an accident that he got so close), but he just inched closer! so i moved a bit further up again, and the guy moved up too! i laughed because I like having fun with assholes like that. so the light turned green and I didn't move an inch. the cars in front of me drove away but I stayed put and when the light turned red again I moved up to the line. of course after that the truck was a centimeter away from my bumper but I didn't care. the light turned green and I took off normally. then I slammed on the brakes out of nowhere. the truck then tried to pass me but I moved to the middle of the road so he couldn't. by that time I was already at my apartment so I turned into the parking lot and the truck drove in too, probably thinking I was going to get scared or something. I got out of my car like nothing happened and walked into my building. anyway, that's what I do when people tailgate me.

no but i might speed up slightly. bonus points for me if they cut in front of me and immediately hit a red light. i will throw my hand up in the air in a WTH kind of way when someone tailgates me.

Yep. I like to really mess with them. I drive a 'Vette with a 383 stroker motor and I let them get good and close and then floor it, hopefully putting a fine layer of shredded rubber on their windshield. If they try and pass I just speed up. Unless they are driving a monster HP Porsche or something, good luck trying to get around me.............

Depends. If they back off, then I will get out of their way. If they don't then I go just fast enough to pass whats in the slow lane then make them go around me. Semi's can't even push me to go faster until they get off my a**.

No I usually try to get over b/c I figure they are in a bigger hurry than I am. I think to myself that they could be trying to get to the hospital b/c a loved one is hurt or having a baby or something very urgent.

Guilty as charged...the closer they get, the slower I. I may even speed up just enough so that can't get around me either.
