I do if they are stuck at a stop sign or in a store parking lot trying to get out or a merge lane. However, for as much driving as I have done it's the women 40 and under that never let you in. They seem to be distracted and or don't care to let others in.
Sorry ladies, I just call them as I see it.
Sincerely, Former cab driver

If everyone was driving at same speed the traffic can flow fast. But generally if the speed of one car slows down because of lane change, merger from ramp or taking exits, everyone else looses speed. and if there is one emergency stop, it brings everything to halt. If the total trafic on the road exceeds the capacity for which it was designed, this has to happen.

This isn't even a choice on I-44 in St. Louis. Everyone does 10 mph above the speed limit and if you don't stay with them, well............. it's squash the bug time!

All the time. I don't think about the traffic. I think about other things.

Yes...one at a time. If 2 try to merge in front of me, I only let one of them in.

Yes I do. I like being fashionably late for everything and I mean work or a dental appt. it's all the same to me. who needs to be on time anyway, it's something we are taught to do so most people assume that it is proper to be on time. We must stop conforming to societies foolish rules. C'mon people, stand up for yourselves and quit bowing to pressure that we only create ourselves.

Nope. I don't have to sit in traffic anymore. I work in Yosemite, and I've never seen it there.

If they signal and don't seem impatient, yes. I figure/hope what goes around comes around.
