There will be two "aiming screws" on each lamp. One on top, and one on the outside (left side on the left lamp, and right side on the right lamp). Turn the top screw to move the lamp up and down, and the side screw to move it left and right. Don't move it too far, or it will interfere with oncomming drivers at night. You will then get people to flash their high beams at you, even if you don't have them on.
There is a correct angle for each vehicle, and if you're the ambitious type, you can find it on the web. It is a very complicated procedure that involves many measurements, a flat and level surface and lots of tape on the wall. I wish you the best of luck.

If you try to align them by yourself you will likely end up with them too high and shining in the eyes of oncoming drivers. I would let a qualified shop align them properly. If there is a problem that has forced the lights out of alignment, they will recognize it and either fix it or refer you to the appropriate place. If they were aligned before, and this is recent, it sounds like front end damage of some kind, and it may even require a body shop to fix. Any mechanic that does headlight alignments can tell you for sure.

look around your headlights, there should be star screws, just turn them and they adjust the angle.top screw makes the lights go up and down and the 1 one on the side makes them go sideways.
