they are great pets, love to be handeled & don't bite!
Mine was a male named"Gomer" who I got has a very small baby, lived 12 years & grew to be almost 2 feet,3 if you counted his tail. Please DO NOT feed them "meal worms" they can kill the dragons...crickets are ok, but salad greens are the all time favorite...good luck!

I love my Bearded Dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a link to some information that you might find useful.

My Bearded Dragon is a 1 year old male named Aragon. I feed him Dragon food and crickets. It is really cool to watch him go after the crickets. They are a docile lizard for the most part. I recommend that you do a lot of research on line for their care before getting one. This is so you know what to expect and so that you do not harm the Dragon. I hoped this helps. Dragon's are very AWESOME PETS !

Bearded dragons make such great pets, because of their docile, human-friendly nature. They do require some care, but are not as high maintenance as some other reptiles. They each have a unique personality.I had one in the past who was a male, but right now i have a female and a male.

My friend has one that she is quite fond of and talks a lot about. It sounds to me like it's a reptile that needs time and attention and a proper diet or it gets sick readily. If you want one, you should research it carefully, find a reputable breeder to buy it from (not a pet store! they don't have the time or the room for properly keeping it) and then devote time to caring for it. It's not a pet you would get for the novelty of, and then discard when something new comes along.
Good luck.

I have two Beardies and i think they are just so awsome! I love watching there head bobbing and arm waving. It fun watching them chase after there food and when they run around on the floor they look like lil alligators. So cute! There very calm and trusting. Theyll just sit right on your shoulder when walking around. Yeah there poop does stink, but everything poops so thas just youd have to deal with it. I love my dragons i think there the best pets iv ever had

Just to warn you their poop smells nastier than any animal I've ever taken care of. I'm in charge of all 13 different animals at work and the bearded dragon's is the worst!

Yes..they are! They are easily handled and fun to have. Keep in mind that the set up and maintenance is not inexpensive.
