teenage-years might be the most painful epoch in life (at least in America .. dunno about elsewhere)
you weould probably have an easier time of walking thru hell if you got a best friend ... tho that is not an easy thing to do at any age ["I want to get a best friend ... hmmm, where do I look?"]
maybe go visit somebody from your school that you sorta like and see if you get along.
maybe join a school club or two [do they still have those? the "club-theme" not as important mebbe as the people you might meet there]
good luck, you're not the only one feeling overwhelmed I'm sure.
Hang in there!

With other people. The only way I got through my teenage years was with the help of others around me. Thankfully some of those people were older than me and were able to give me different perspectives on things that were going on. I'm a true believer that it takes a village to raise a child. I'm in my twenties and I'll take all the help I can get!!!
Trust me sweetie it does get better....

teenagehood is better to be survived with the help of others. They give you moral support and comfort when your down, but share the best happy memories. Its always nice to have help from others. You get great opinions from them and they help you through all the teenage craziness and drama. Its definetly easier to face with the help of others

Everybody needs someone to talk to, not just teenagers. Make an effort to find a best friend, someone with similar values and intelligence. It's part of growing up. Don't just settle for anyone--stay away from the bad crowd. And believe it or not most moms are willing to listen to their daughters anytime they need them. I know you don't want your mom to know some things, but just remember she was your age once. Good luck.

Its better if you have some support, but alot of people don't have that option.
Rob is right. Try and join some like-minded groups to at least get some good social time.
Alot of teenhood is just to be survived-- the good news is that you will make it.
My best to you!

both with family/friends and alone!
having people around can be real helful with the company and the comfort when we need it. sometimes being alone too often makes us wonder about things that we shouldn't. so being around people can help lots by taking our minds off the unimportant.
then again. all of us need our personal time dont we?
