I love the stuff - it's similar to organic (can leave it sit without burning for a few days) I find the weed choke mentioned above is a plus, it's a slow fertilizer and tends to force turf to thicken rather than just green and lengthen
Go for it !

Absolutely! Combined with an annual application of lime and a treatment of GrubEx, I credit Scott's with giving me the best lawn in my neighborhood. Everyone asks me how I get my lawn so rich and green. The Scott's 4 Step process is key. Make sure you add winterizer (Step 4) in the early fall. Also, be careful not to cut your lawn too short. The taller grass helps prevent weeds and keeps the grass hydrated in the hot dry weeks of mid-summer.

Yes it will, I just put some on my lawn about two weeks ago. I didn't have a spreader so I just spread it around like I was feeding the chickens! The lawn is a luscious green now! Bye,go out and feed the chickens!

I noticed mine in 3 days, that was after a rain of course but it is great!!!! I had alot of weeds & vines that were choking out the grass & it let the grass fill in like it should. Improved my lawn 110 %.

your grass will stay greener even in dry weather. your grass will grow faster. it will kill over 50 percent of your weeds. I use the scotts the last 2 years with the broad leaf killer and it killed about 1/3 of my clover and proabbly 80% of the dandelions leaving nice bare spots for new grass seed. If you have already spread seed and have new grass this year it will kill it too by the way.

I have used it on my lawn this year and found it very good at killing weeds but marginal on greening up my lawn. I used it only because my neighbor moved and could not take it with them. I will not plan to purchase the product though.
