an animal screaming. I mean really screaming in terror or pain. Actually, any type of scream or fingernails on a chalkboard. Or a saxophone squeaking. There's also always that quiet "oops" you hear someone say that makes you realize something just went horribly wrong.

My kids throwing up in the back seat of the car. Or even worse than that is the sound of my alarm clock in the morning.

suitable sounding - Swedish. it merely sounds so cool! Worst sounding - i don't incredibly think of any language sounds "grotesque", yet once I had to choose on i could circulate with German, like others mentioned, very guttural and sorta offended sounding.

The worst sound for me is when I accidently step on the cat or dogs paw. They scream and look at you like you're stupid.

the sound of chalk on a chalkboard when it screeches, anyone barfing (the sound makes me want to throw up also), my friends trying to sing, and when my dad talks (embarrassing, especially since he has an accent and tries to talk "cool", but i still love him though. ^_^
