Mostly the head, but sometimes only the heart knows the real answer. A fictional example in the movies could be the decision Rose made in the movie, TITANIC, when she abandoned her mother in the lifeboat and climbed back aboard the ship to find the love of her life. It wasn't rational, but it was the right decision for her at the time.

Head. Following your heart only, can get you into some serious trouble. I know from personal experience. I always ended up dating the wrong guys.

Both are important, but in the right context. You think with your heart when you look after someone, and you think with your head when you do your homework. Some problems require both in order to solve them.

Normally the head (it tend to be the most rational) but, that blasted heart means that you have a soul and can help you make some of the hardest decisions

If you follow your head and your heart isn't in it then it will turn out wrong...
If you follow your heart with out using your head then it will turn out wrong...
Both are needed to make caring sound decisions in life.

I have to pick a third option - my gut.
My brain is incredibly logical, but can play the "what if?" game for days. My heart is a great guide, but tends to be blind. Only my gut ever really seems to tell me the truth.
