What was the worst way someone has broken up with you?

Yeah, a pretty harsh question, but I'm just wondering if any of you had ever gone through out of the norm break-up moments. For instance, my last girlfriend put a message on my answering machine saying that we were through. All of my roomates heard it with me, and I was shocked as hell. I never thought that would've happened. Anybody else have a bad break-up?

Second husband literally said he was taking the dog for a walk, told me he loved me, and didn't come back. Moved in with my best friend and her husband and broke up THEIR marriage a few days later. They're married now, I hope they choke.

Well my ex told my mum he thinks he is in love with me and he has never felt like this before then the next night after gushing out his "love" i get a miss call on my phone leaving a message saying i NEED to talk to u its important..so me and all my friends who i worked with got worried so i thought someone had died or something bad happened so i put him on loud speaker and he broke up with m, i can laugh now but at the time i was like :O what a jerk, he always said to me he HATES guys who finish girls for nothing and hates them when they cant tell the girl to their face..lol

The worst way someone has broken up with me... Hmm. let me think. I guess the worst way was over the phone. He claimed that the 30-45 minutes distance was too much of a long distance relationship and that it wouldn't work. That was his excuse, but he didn't like the fact that i had gained a little weight and was shy. I am not sure who had called who, but he broke up with me over the phone. I remember crying for days. THEN!!!! What tops it all off, he wanted to be friends with benefits. When his grandfather saw me at his house, he ran off his mouth about how all i wanted was sex and that he should get rid of me. My ex didn't even try to defend me. It was infact HIM who wanted the sex. I competely fell apart and he just sat there and attempted to comfort me. It was absolutely terrible. Now his girlfriend (who's almost 4 years younger) talks to me like BFF and wants to continue bringing him up and how perfect he is. BLAH BLAH BLAH. It does still bother me, but what can I say, he meant a lot to me.

Four days before we were to be married, he disappeared. Stopped calling, stopped emailing, wouldn't answer his phone and couldn't be located by family and friends. Two weeks later he wrote a rambling email blaming it all on his ability to read minds.

Since then, I have learned he was bipolar and off of his meds, and therefore wasn't stable enough to have a relationship.

The worst way to break up with a girl - He just moved on and on the night of our 16th month together we were supposed to go have dinner on the beach it was so sweet - and he never turned up, and later that same evening i saw him at starbucks with this girl and he looked at me and acted as if he never met me before.

I use to date a girl I worked with, she became interested in another guy in the office. She broke up with me and started dating the other guy, talk about awkward. I had to pretend it didn't bother me, but it did. I had to work with these people so I chose to ignore my feelings and pretend nothing happened. There after I never dated girls I worked with, my Dad warned me too, he said "never crap where you eat." I didn't think it was bad dating her, but in retrospect, I shouldn't have dated a girl I work with.

well he stopped saying i love you to me. and that lone was nerve wrecking... i could sense the break up coming but i kept denying it. and then...he broke up with me by text message. i think it was just a cowards way to do something like that..

my boyfriend lied and cheated on me, so when I confronted him he said, it wasnt him, so I didnt call him for like a week maybe then I called 2 c how he was doing and he hung up in my face, later he posted up pictures of him and her,...and said that he loved her...man that hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!
