I am pretty sure it is, but just thought I'd get a little more input... It's an HP Nx9010 laptop, 2.4 ghz, Mobil Intel Pentium 4, used but in excellent condition, 80gig hard drive, cdrw/dvd rom, 512mb ram, ATI video card, 3 usb ports, 15inch display, built in wireless adapter, battery, power supply, has Windows XP Professional installed, and battery holds a good charge. ---->$350.00

What do you think?

OMG! That is an excellent deal - if you spend an extra 80 bucks or so and get a larger memory to pop in to it you will have one smokin' laptop! Great deal!!

You have found yourself a really great deal. My advice to you is to be very sure that the pc works from the person or from wherever you found this great deal.

If it is from a pawn shop, try and determine if it is clean. (Not stolen). Many laptops have tracking devices so that they can be traced. And you will be liable for the purchase of stolen property. (no crime, but you will have lost your $350.00).

Also you want to make sure that you know the pass word, if the prior owner had "administrative rights", or a software lock that would prevent the pc from loading all the programs without the password code.

If all of the above is fine, go for it. Wish you joy and safe surfing. There is nothing wrong with something being used, if you have doen your home work related to the above.

i think of it is a superb cost. Your processor is a solid processor and with a gig of ram, it is going to run any MS workplace and a few hefty pictures. Your tricky force is a sprint small - yet once you get an exterior USB - you would be in corporation. I oftentimes do not save my photos, song and documents on my considerable tricky force besides. continually greater effective having your individual stuff someplace else. I observed the remark "it is previous".... no it is not..... it may be for infants who decide to play video games each and all the time yet that computing gadget will run any MS workplace product completely and maximum all image classes. I tutor desktops and have 512 mg ram on a 2.0 processor on 2 laptops and a private computing gadget and it does each thing i choose it to do. the different concept is many human beings are having a number of of issues of Vista - and their frustration stages are very severe - so which you probably did the clever difficulty - determining to purchase XP for now. i don't plan on upgrading till Vista is rock stable.

Personally, it's not a good deal at all.
especially when it is a USED Laptop Pentium 4

At $ 350-550 you can get a better deal at store like Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Depot (there many good deal laptop if look closely), Office Max
New one, Duo Core processors rather than a single core (either AMD Turion x2 or Duo Core or Duo Core x2)
For $ 350-550
You could get a NEW 1 GB Memory (Ram) with Duo Core Processor (faster than P4) also with 80 Gb hard-drive...
or 512 MB Memory Ram with Duo core processor...

Thats a good deal yea ,but HP laptops( I had 2) give a lot of problems. Both of them were pretty unstable even though they had specs similiar to the ones yours has and both of them now have the same problem where they shut off and turn on whenever they feel like. Its a good deal though.

Im not really liking the USED part, 80 gig, 512 ram and P4. But you can always upgrade the ram and memory. :)

Yeah, it's a great deal for $350, as long as there isn't any spyware or X stuff on it.

Great deal. Grab it fast.

Haha, sounds great, but I wouldn't trust used, not with todays age of the unsafe internet.

more memory is only needed for games and such, I have only like, 256 and it's fine.

80 gigs is fine unless you're downloading like, 40 movies

Seriously, I wouldn't trust used...

I think its a pretty good deal. I would take that 100-200 dollars you saved and invest in some RAM. http://www.memoryx.net/cobunonxme.html here is an example.

Depends... You can get a new one for 450-600 and it has better stuff... but then again... newer laptops are going to have... vista................... but not bad for 350 i think (as long as it works) new laptop memory is going to be a bit pricy if you get more. talking about 70-100 bucks for 1gig stick

Try to negotiate, because they might not know anything. The deal could get even better.

But I'd definitely buy it for 350.
