The worth of any book is decided by its rareness, condition and if it is offered in the right spot at the right time.

Look at the book selling sites for an indication, but do not expect top money, unless your books are special.

If your collection looks good, all books in good condition, same publisher, same kind of binding (all hardback would be best I think, but all paperback with the same series of covers is good too), make a photo of each book, and one of the whole collection.
Offer them as such to Amazon or e-bay, or a site like these.

If your books are not as good, your best bet would be for local book markets or specialty shops.

If you want to keep your books, enjoy them and do not worry about worth.

i saw this collection listed on ebay a year or so ago. i believe it sold for around $300...way less than i think it's worth. & yes, i have the entire collection, too. wouldn't sell it unless i was offered, oh, about $2000. but, that won't happen so i think i'll just hang on to it.
