Pressing the "Delete" button on your keyboard will simply move the items to your recycle bin... from there, you can right click on the Bin and Empty it. A quicker way would be to hold the Shift button and press the Delete button on your keyboard. You'll get a confirmation box making sure you wanna knock the pictures out. Click "Yes" and the items are deleted... kinda.
If someone's really savvy, they can use software to recover these items from the hard drive, as deleting items on a hard drive simply removes the metaphorical page from the table of contents (the item is still on the drive, the computer just can't see it using normal methods). For this, you can use 3rd party software to ZERO FILL or RANDOM FILL the free space on your hard drive.
IMPORTANT: This is dangerous and should only be done if you know that the person/people accessing the computer knows a whole lot more than the average user.

Delete them them empty the recycle bin, or in basic terms carry Shift and hit Delete to pass the recycle bin and eliminate them permenantly. in case you have the desire to make effective the data is long gone for stable google data Wipe utility and receive a application to "scrub" the loose area on your tricky force to cut back the potential of the data beign recovered later.

Right click, then select delete. Then when youve deleted all you want from your folders....right click recycle bin and select empty recycle bin.
