The power locks and the horn are on the same fuse. I replaced the fuse and the horn and locks worked for about 10 minutes (or 10 - 15 beeps - my kids were excited to hear the horn again) Brand new fuse; should I try another or is there a short or something electrical? Locks are not working, of course. What would cause this?

Try at least two fuses. But if it blows both of them, have it checked out for a short. There is something wrong when fuses keep blowing. And with kids in the car, you can't afford to take chances. Just imagine what could happen if your short becomes an electrical fire at highway speeds!

Fuses do not just blow for no reason. Yes, you have a problem, Yes it is probably a short, no, i can not tell you how to check it. The problem with electrical stuff is there are just TOO many things that can go wrong, and it is a time consuming problem to find and correct. Good Luck

SAFTY FIRST.The fuse pops for a reason the reason is a short to ground in your car. Please take it to your local car dealer that work on them every day and get it fixed. A short can cause a fire if not corrected.

a good chance it is a short. but for cheap just go to your parts store and get a circuit breaker of the right size. this will stop you having to replace the fuse all the time. if you start having a lot of problems still have it looked at.
