In the late 60's Jerry Jackson, from Louisana was playing with a HOT rock group. He was the lead singer and guitarist. That was not his real name. His group was asked to play at one of the Minn. Viking games in the late 60's or early 70's. He got saved in 1973 and showed up at the gig...pop the mic to his hand and began to sing..."Your all going to Hell"....What was the bands name? Does anyone have a picture of it? His real name is Jesse Duplantis....and God really has a hold on him! Not to mention the good work he has done for the Lord the last 30 some odd years.

Yowee that is tough. You know as well as anyone how music evolves and revolves so much around an era and societies views. Example: I dream of Genie was not allow to show her belly button, but on Gilligans Island Mary Ann I think could cuz she wore halter tops??? Weird What I think of more is some of those groups that were pushin hard in those decades who not only survive, sometimes in total, but still draw huge audiences as they are in their 60's I like a lot of todays music, but it might have been kinda alien in those decades you suggest. My first thought was that, given how market-driven the music business is today, and how much they depend on the tastes of young kids, there couldn't be anybody, but.... I have to say that Foo Fighters would stand a chance. They're musically solid, and their stuff is geared to somewhat more developed tastes than the high school kids and hipster wannabes who drive most of the popular music market.
