I have been doing modeling, was asked to go try out for Playboys Book of Lingerie, they accepted me. They also asked if I would be on Playboy tv// Problem is my Mom is ultra conservative she thinks showing your stomach is racy. She also knows i posed in lingerie and she thinks its disgusting. I know she means well and i know if i pose naked, she will prob find out and disown me, maybe never talk to me again and my family will say im a slut and a disgrace.
I come from a poverty stricken family, i graduated college but still low in money, i think its a chance to improve my life.
What do you think?

Pick up some old issues of Playboy, flick through and see if you can find any models that have then gone on to become famous. You won't find many. It depends on what you consider an improvement in your life. It will not support you for very long. If the lingerie modelling helps to clear the debt, then this may be more acceptable to you and your family in the long run. And you may still have a chance of using your college diploma for a career, without your work colleagues having seen you naked. Although it is your choice, it is important to at least consider your family's objections.

As you noticed, Playboy promotes its flagship magazine more heavily than its spin-off magazine. Playboy's non-modeling content is also well-known for its quality, with feature stories, interviews, and short stories that win awards and cover significant topics. I've never heard of Playgirl's non-modeling content and don't know whether this is because it isn't general-interest content or whether Playgirl's editors aren't as discerning as Playboy's. Some of this is probably related to risk-aversion. Playboy is a popular magazine and its publishers don't want to jeopardize it by investing money and expertise they could have put into it into a less notable magazine instead. It also seems likely that some of America's social attitudes and assumptions would affect Playgirl's circulation by making it more embarrassing for a woman to be seen purchasing it than it would be for a man to purchase Playboy, although there's still a stigma associated with both of them.

Well I would advise you to always remember there are consequences to every action you do. I remember what happned to the now actress and singer Venessa Williams. She was crowned Miss America but it was taken away because she posed for Penthouse Magazine so she had to give up her crown.

But your circumstances show you come from poverty. One County star I admire is Miss Dolly Parton. And she has a wholesome image but she came from poverty also.

I put both links on there for you to see them.

In the end the choice is yours. Always remember that with fame comes great temptations and dealings with people who are looking out for their own interests and you are part of their job. They will use you. But I suppose you would be using them also to futher yourself. So it works both ways.

If all you are looking for is money now to help your current financial crisis then, I would not judge you too harshly. You have to make the choice that's up to you. But don't stay there. Move on once you are free from your financial bind.

God made Queen Esther beautiful too but for a reason. Perhaps there are other outlets besides playboy where you can make money also.

Good luck. Whatever the choice is always remember that you will have consequences. You thought about your mom, family, and freinds. But think also of other "clean" organizations that want a beautiful woman to pse for them, but can't get one. Maybe you could use your acceptance from Playboy as a means to hire you. Then no need to go to Playboy.

Well again good luck.

hahaha IMPROVE your life? that's hilarious. think about this. how many HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of women have posed for playboy and been on playboy TV? And now how many have made any real good money. A few dozen. Do you really think it's worth throwing away what little self respect you have left to take that huge risk? My family has been dirt poor too, but I can assure you that my mother never posed nude to make us money. she started selling AVON and worked very hard at it, and now she's at the top of the corporate ladder, without even a high school education. if she can do that, I'm sure you can do even better.

Think about it real hard. Once you expose yourself to the world, you can't take it back. What if in the future the man of your life comes along and you lose him because of this? Or you have children and one of them sees a recorded playboy tv show at one of their friends houses(a recording they sneek from thier dads old stash). Ever think about being a phlebotomist(draw blood). It's very short , maybe 6 weeks of training) and you can make up to $15 and hour. Bartenders and cocktail waitresses and food waitresses make decent money, while you are looking for a career position.

Don't do it it is a very terrible thing to exploit your body. If you do you will have to stand naked as a tree for a very long time. IT is the law of Karma. That is the reaction by mother nature. If someone likes to be naked in front of others they will get their desire fulfilled in their next life as a tree. It is exploitation. You are not your physical body. You are eternal spirit soul. Have some dignity be human. not a tree. For info on karma and reincarnation go to harekrishnatempleo.com This is serious stuff. pleas consider your future existence.

The drawback about this option, is that you will never, ever be able to shake the stigma in the future. When life does get better financially for you, you'll wish you didn't pose nude. I know what it's like to be poor; it's so tough to see the big picture, but there are other ways to make money.

Since this seems to me to be a nonsense question, I'll provide a nonsense answer.
Come over to my place and I'll have a look at you (naked or scantily dressed) and tell you if I think you are "Playboy" material.
Your financial class has no bearing on your appearance.

Playboy TV is nice. But Playboy is good to. Will your mom ever see a Playboy, or see Playboy TV? Do BOTH.

You are an adult. Do whatever you want.
Jeeez I hate it when ppl make you feel guilty.
If it was a guy posing nude or semi-nude would everyone still feel the same way? I don't think so.
I HATE DOUBLE STANDARDS.
