Why is it everyone here realizes how crappy the world is, but does nothing to change it?!?!?

Why is it teachers teach kids they can't change the world until they're older when that's a lie?!?!?! They could change it now! And when they get older they won't either!

Why can't one person stand up and save the world?

Why can't I??!?!?!

Why can't you?!?!?!

How are you helping the world telling me that 1 person can't save the world... wasting your time... and I'm wasting my time telling you you're wasting your time!

If you haven't asked yourself this question first, and resolved it for yourself, then it really isn't fair for you to ask it of others. Most of us start out trying to change the world, and most of us are lucky in the end just to change ourselves. If enough of us just changed ourselves, the world would have nothing to worry about. Think about that for awhile. The reason one person can't change the world is that no one can really agree absolutely just what it should be changed into. We are all so busy pushing against each other, the world may not have a chance!

Smile at a stranger. Begin with the rude clerk at the convenience store.

Compliment someone. Lie if you have to. It's OK.

Buy inexpensive flowers like carnations and pass them out to strangers.

Silently pray for someone.

Plant a tree

We should learn to take action from a young age so that when we grow old, we wouldn't feel that "fear"

I guess the reason why older people teach kids this is because they're victims of this fear, and they're not ready to let them take on

some try everyday to make a difference and hopefully enough of us will continue and neveer take the attitude that it doesnt matter...what is that saying...all it takes for evil to triumph...is for good men(or women) to do nothing....and there is also the thought that silence means acceptance...so speak out and move forward and get involved and together the synergy is the force...but sitting round asking why why not ...isnt going to do the trick

well it will take more than one, united we stand but separate or bigots we will fall as usual specially with bigot talk shoe on radio and TV hosts who entice all of us and try their best to watch us stereotype each other because that is their only way to make a good living and keep getting in our pockets deeper.when we wake up it will happen.

You can change things. We have in the six (Northern Ireland - you may know it as) by rebellion, resistance, and now politics. So take heart - and take a page from our book - it can be done.

We need Spiderman.

As Stan Lee stated in Spiderman III," One person can make a difference. 'Nuff said!"
