The easiest way to answer this is to say that my pets ARE part of my schedule. I schedule in time and activities for/with them. They like to sit on my lap and be petted while I read or watch TV. They like to lie next to me and be petted at night while I am lying down trying to relax and sleep. They go with me in the car on days when it isn't too hot for them. I sit on the porch in the evening while they play in the yard. They are a big part of my life.

ABSOLUTLY...When I come in from work my pets all meet me at the door..and we have a great petting session (if you want to call it that)...and lots of love an kisses,,with the dogs..the cats we just just pet and talk to cause they are a little more aloof than dogs. If my daughter gets home before me she does the same...it's like greeting a long lost friend at the end of the day..and the animals and people in our family enjoy this time.

well, i dont specifically set aside certain times of the day to spend with my dogs...taking them out, feeding them etc has just become part of my daily schedule. they are spoiled rotten so no matter what if someone is home they are with the dogs lol. The dogs seem to like to do the same things as we do. if we are tired they nap with us and if we want to play so do they! and they always wanna go for a ride! now that the weather is gettin warm we will probably be takin them outside more or takin them swimmin or somthing, but its fun for the dogs and us so i wouldnt consiter it actually taking time out ya know?

they need to be fed daily and the cages cleaned and if my pet one is sick it's off to the vet. She's on anti biotics at present and dislikes the taste hates it in fact. THe vet showed me how to administer it . She get wrapped in a towel and then a plastic syringe with her portion is squirted in the mouth and she screams but still loves me. She has lost weight so I have been feeding her special treats people food. There is just not enough time in the day !

Are you kidding..are schedule is made AROUND our pets!
We love our animals and my sweet shorter hairer daughter rules the roost..She is a 5 year old half rot...half german...and she was the runt...she looks like someone took a large shepard and shrank it in perfect preportions but she comes with a full sized bark..."people are amazed that that little dog could bark like that" I am constantly seeing people use pets as a secondary diversion....it is soooooo sad...and they wonder why the dog pees in there bed or tears up the favorite shoes....yes...I take alot of time to be with my sweet friend, companion, and pet...snoogs.

I have a fish named Oido. I talk to him every morning when I feed him and in the afternoon when I get home from work I play with him. I stick my finger in the water and he comes up and brushes against it.

Absolutely! Including driving home at lunch (20 min each way) to check in on her when she's sick to make sure she's okay... fortunately she's feeling much better now.
