I'm from San Antonio, and a Spurs Fan.
But i'll admit it, tonight the refs seemed to lean more towards the Spurs side. Some bad calls were made, but nothing too bad, no major game-changing late calls.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear Amare or Marion complain in the press conference.
Either way, I don't recall the spurs ever complaining after a game, when was the last time a Spurs players called out the refs in a playoff series?
Trust me, if we didn't complain a year ago, against Dallas --our archival, you wont ever hear us complain about officiating.

Last year, the refs literally gave the Mavericks the oppurtunity to win the series against spurs by knocking down a couple of free throws and they did. And that wasn't the only time the referees were terrible in that series against the mavs. Anyone who's ever played the lakers in the playoffs knows how that officiating goes and spurs have been there many times. In one game in the first round against the nuggets this year, Tim Duncan was fouled every single time he touched the ball and the referees never called it (but the spurs won anyways becuase thats what great teams do). The commentators even commented on how Timmy couldn't get a foul call.

NBA refs often sucks, that's a fact of life, but the spurs were the better team tonight. Everyone stop calling the spurs dirty just cuz phoenix didn't get the calls in a physical game. Duncan was unstoppable, Nash couldn't score in the first half, and (although phoenix fans will point to the refs) Stoudemire committed some stupid fouls that kept him on the bench. (and they WERE fouls). Spurs have won inspite of poor officiating many times before, phoenix and their fans need shut up, suck it up, and do wat it takes to win.

Yeah, I agree. It was terrible. Those refs were idiots and they gave this game to the Spurs. I cringed at every non-existant foul called against the Suns and every time the Spurs got away with one of their dirty plays where there was a clear foul but the idiot refs didn't call it. It happened many times throughout the entire game. The Suns should have won, I hate it when awful officiating costs a team that deserved to win. It's unfair and I hope the Suns can bounce back and win, but if the refs are this bad the rest of the series, then it will be very hard for the Suns.

i think of the calls have been particularly one-sided in recreation 2. i think of Celtics followers might desire to concede that... atleast a sprint. That pronounced, the Lakers nevertheless have been given outplayed for the main section... atleast they did interior the 2nd and third quarters... and that they lost because of the fact of that. And every person who calls it "cheating" is an fool. What do you pick the Celtics to do? initiate shouting on the refs because of the fact the calls are going the Lakers way? I actual do no longer think of you may call it cheating if it became your group that gained. undesirable calls and all... the Celtics gained this recreation because of the fact they have been enjoying better basketball.

Laker fan, thanks for noticing. But was there any doubt?? Any doubt at all that if the Suns weren't getting ANYTHING in Phoenix, they would be screwed even more on the road??? Welcome to the NBA.
