Just make sure you get a friendly rabbit. (In my experience the males are usually friendlier.) If the dog is friendly they will get along fine. My rabbits used to play with the dogs. The dog would bark for the rabbit to run and, if it was in the mood, it would run around with the dog chasing it.

It is just like every other animal....there are nice rabbits and there are crappy rabbits..some bite some wouldnt...my little bugcather ran all over the house and would nudge my toes to play, he never bit me, but my dad had some rabbits that would take off your fingers and laugh at you. I would get a baby and let it get to know the family, one dog I know took a baby on as a pup and watched like a hawk...hope it helps.

Depends on the bunny. Just like cats, i have a cat who follows my dog everywhere, another that will run if it hears the slightest noise. Rabbits are the same, different personallities. for that reason, instead of getting a baby, you should adopt an adult that you can already see its demeanor, and can tell if its good with kids.

Rabbits are very friendly, their clean and lovable. They love kids but i'm not quite sure about dogs, maybe if they get used to them?

some dogs are bred to chase/hunt rabbits...so I'd be careful about bringing a rabbit into the house till you know if your dog will hunt it down and eat it first..(terriers, retrievers, greyhounds, daschunds, shepards, pitbulls, bullterriers...all taught to hunt small animals.)

it really depends on what type it is. you dont want a large rabbit that would scratch, but you dont want a small one that would be rough housed. id suggest a himalayan or dwarf rabbit. they're small and gentle,

They are better with onions and potatoes!! (Sorry I just couldn't help it) They are if you get them early enough but have a tendency to sometimes be a bit nasty after they get older. Just keep the frying pan handy !! ;-}
