how many MB if virtual memory should I have my computer set at?

i changed it today trying to fix something and need to change it back, but cant remember the initial setting...oops!

One would normally let Windows decide for you, but I prefer to set it at between 2X or 3X of your physical memory, so if you have 512MB of memory, then I would set the VM to around 1250MB, it doesnt have to be exact

Normally they say 2x your ammount of Physical RAM

128 mb would be 256mb
256 mb would be 512mb
512 mb would be 1 gb
1 gb would be 2 gb

etc
