I was a member of my high school band and after a parade with horses....I accidentally stepped in horse poo. It was really gross on my bright, white shoes!

And of course, most people have stepped on snails, slugs and worms. My grade school classrooms were bordered by green lawns. Every rain storm, the sidewalk between the lawn and the classroom doors would be absolutely overflowing with worms trying to get out of the lawn and onto the walkway to avoid drowning. There were thousands of them and there was no place else to walk. It was gross enough to have to walk on live worms to get from one building to another. But it was positively sickening to continue walking on the dead ones. After a while the odor was retching.

I went to an Agricultural high school where goats ran around freely (well, not really) and there was a 100% chance of stepping in cow **** at least once a day.

I had a cat who always chucked up a hairball in the middle of the hall in the dead of night. I always ended up stepping on it when it was cold and slimey.

He lived to be almost 20 years old, and has only been gone a couple of years. Funny..I almost miss stepping on the cold, slimey ones now.

Haven't experienced that. Hope I never do. Imagine poop right before an interview that can't be rescheduled.
