New contract: no pay raise : now we pay for insurance : now retirees have to pay for insurance : loose pay raises and cola rasies for the next 1.5 years: no job security: are they for American workers or against us.

No doubt union executives are in bed with management. they don't really care about you or the rank and file. Think of how unions started. There were baseball bats. Some people got hurt. You can only push the common man so far. Then he starts to push back.

Unless we get rid of unions, we're going to have more outsourcing. The Steel Union is smart to not try to negotiate too hard with the steel company. They've already run enough steel jobs to China.

If you make it too expensive for a company to do business here, that company is going to do business elsewhere. Unions merely result in a net loss because they waste resources squabbling with employers and strengthening governments (which makes everybody in the country worse off because governments cannot create wealth, but merely can destroy it).

It's unfortunate, but a lot of today's union leaders have no huevos, they sold out.
