How can you tell if you connect with someone?

and that you can tell you're compatible...what are the signs of good chemistry?? how does it actually feel when you naturally connect with someone? i never felt this, ever. i wonder (romantically, especially...)

I don't know. I thought I knew before and it turned out I was wrong, so I really can't tell you.

1. I assume your question refers to connecting with some one of the opposite sex in a romantic way.
2 I think there are several physical and personality indicators that may show compatibility. Following are some pointers from my experiences. I am not a psychologist.
3. Look at the person directly in the eyes gently without glaring. If he or she responds by looking back straight into your eyes and both of you get a warm feeling of relating to each other, there is a good chance that you may be connecting with each other.
4. Talk to that person about his or her life, likes and dislikes, hobbies, interests, profession, family, or any subject of mutual interest. If the person communicates well and takes equal interest in you by asking similar questions, that should be an indicator of compatibility.
5. Watch the person's body language. If he or she feels comfortable in your presence and mutual interactions and vice-verse, that's a positive sign.
6. At the end of the meeting, ask the person out for another date. If the response is an enthusiastic Yes, that should be a good start.

The connection is automatic. There is attraction on all levels. You do go through things, but that is just because you are getting used to each others likes and dislikes. You will have a lot of things in common. And as time goes by you want to have more and more of that person, not just sexually. But also talking, cuddling and doing things together.
