You never win friends they either like you for you and if they don't then you don't need them. Never try to win someone people are not items and should not be treated so.

Generosity is the key to friendship. And I'm not talking about handing out cash. Generous people give freely of their time, they share what they have, they welcome friends into their home, into their lives. Generous people think of others before themselves. They don't look at every situation and say "how does this affect me". They think of others first and this outlook on life becomes apparent to those around them and draws others in. Think of "scrooge" before and after his conversion. Have a generous spirit and you will never be without friends.

Don't judge them no matter what. You can give your honest opinion but don't judge them based on how they are raised, or because they have different likes and habits then you.
