I had about 100 dollars in my drawer hidden behind a broken mirror so i though nobody knew about my secret money stash but me and my best friends. A few weeks ago, some of tht money went missing but i didn't think nething of it cuz i thought i might have missplaced it or spent it on something then forgot what i bought.
i went to buy slurpees with my friend two weeks ago and i had about 60 dollars left in my drawer and i remember saying to myself, if this money goes missing then i know someone's been steeling from me.
last night i checked my money stash and it was gone.
my "friend" comes over alot, i showed her where my money is one day when i got some for candy. she wants money really bad to buy the wii and i'm not sure if she would steel my money because she was so desperate. she's the only one i can think of who might have taken it, what do i do??

The moneys not the problem, im sure if she were desperate and talked to you, you could 'make a plan'. The thing that really hurts is having someone you love and trust steal from you. Sometimes the temptation is too strong for some people, no matter how much they try to refrain. you have learnt a valuable lesson. some things should be kept private, no matter much you 'know' her. its not worth this outcome and there is also nothing worse than being accused of stealing when you havent. there is a slight chance she didnt take it, but it sounds sus. I d say to her in everyday conversation, i cant believe some lowlife stole my money.....i have no idea who it could be, BUT when i find out.......
let her stew on it. this is the sort of thing that will haunt her forever. I stole from my bff when i was 10. but i just had to have those commonwealth bank stickers.... didnt i. she mentioned it the other day.(over 20 yrs later) she new all along, but never said anything. it wouldnt have made a difference back then if she did, its only now that im 20 years older, that i feel really bad.... she laughs about it, but i feel like crap. anyone got any commonwealths stickers they dont want, the ones with the elepha nts on them?
Anyway, she obviously valued my friendship and chose not to crucify me. I truly thank her for that, but she probably hid her valuables when i came around next....hmmmm......stickers.......

Do you have family like a sibling that might have taken it? Also, take the drawer out and check that it didn't fall behind the drawer or something. If nothing comes from that then ask your friend. You may have a friend that has a problem involving money.

Nothing. The money is gone, and if you accuse your friend, she will deny it. Be more careful in the future. No one needs to know where you keep your money. If you suspect this certain friend of stealing it, do not give her access to anything valuable again.

I think its best that you should put a hidden camera near your drawer to see who has been stealing from you. They are not expensive at all and should be easy to hide.

A Secret is no longer a secret once you tell some one.
Did u learn your lesson?
I hate people who steal too, its always a friend - your not the only one.
Peace.
