It's the computer gremlins; you can blame everything on them. Breakdowns,
forcing you to tend it when you would rather be doing something else. So, now

It is just looking for attention. The poor thing gets lonely when you aren't using it, so it subtly entices you to stay around - it just wants to be loved!
