Time for an oil change.....

The little green light is usually reset when serviced at regular intervals. You can safely ignore it for awhile. :)

Look for a reset switch directly in the "gauge cluster" it will simply be an opening with a black piece at the edge of the plexiglass. Or it is on the Accord model anyway. Insert your key (or simular object) and press. It will reset the light for another 3000 miles.

Its probably just a reminder light to have your scheduled maintenance done-oil change and stuff like that.
Or it could be a warning of something wrong with the car. Have you noticed any changes in the way it runs lately?

It's designed to remind you when oil change is due, maintenance gulidelines, like changing the timing belt, or having the brakes changed. Regular maintenance keeps your vehicle in top shape, and you are less likely to have a breakdown.

most hondas, older dodges and losts of mitsubisi have this light to make money. it comes on about every 30000 miles and is just a switch usually that resets it. i would consult your owners manual to make sure what you particular light means. as far as anything major, no this light is not to indicate that. as long as it is not the service engine soon light, and your owners manual says that it is for a schedule maintance at the shop it is not a bad thing.

its just a reminder that its probably time to change the oil again, this is programmed to come on at certain intervals and it does this as a reminder to do a routine maintenance on it,its nothing major wrong with it though ,there designed to do exactly that ,good luck with it.

It could mean lots of things. More than likely, you need to change your oil and oil filter. While you are at it check your air filter too.
