It all depends on what things in particular cause your low self-esteem.
However, I, too, have experienced bouts of feeling low self-esteem. One thing that has somewhat lessened the feeling for me is to find something that I enjoy. Know yourself, and what makes you feel good.
Feel confident in what you do. Know that there will always be someone better and worse than you in the world.
It is all a matter of how you perceive things in your mind. One doesn't have to feel embarrassed or inferior due to another's actions or words.
Know that you matter, and that you can probably do the same things as anyone else. A nice selfish period of "me time" won't hurt.
If these pointers don't work, perhaps the path of self-identification will help restore your self-esteem.

well look at how many strangers answered I'm sure your family and Friends would help if asked ...it is hard but a hobby where you met people, exercise glass, school all things you take charge of and learn and grow for yourself will help do something nice for someone else and read a joke a day a good laugh will help...you need many small steps to accept yourself , but the hardest was asking this question best thoughts your way

Acceptance of who you are is the first step towards a healthy self-esteem. The second step is hang around people that are going to build up your self-esteem rather than tear it down. The third and hardest step, is self-reflection. Figure out why you feel that way and try to repair the inconsistency. Other than that, good luck.

You need to take your focus off yourself & take an interest in someone else....
If you are constantly looking inwardly this attitude will continue to grow but if you can find someone to focus your attention on the distraction may well break the cycle.
Good luck !

Believe it or not, exercise increases self-esteem and confidence. EXERCISE! And please don't hurt yourself or think about committing suicide. It's stupid. All you'll be is a statistic after you're dead.
If you want, you can think about these people:
