George Lucas should keep his fat mouth shut, and thank God above that he convinced 20th Century Fox to give him $10 million to make Star Wars. If not for that, he'd be known as the guy that brought us "American Graffiti", and who remember THAT piece of crap?

I agree with you. George Lucas is definately jealous because this trilogy is better than his boring Star Wars prequels made just for the money. Star Wars is one of those movies that you can only watch once and then get bored of it but the Spider-Man movies are very enjoyable and you can watch them over and over again. Spider-Man 3, in my opinion, is the best of the trilogy. It had killer CGI effects and a good story line, yes I have to admit that there were to many villains but that just makes it more funner to watch!

Okay...Maybe I'm the only one who picked up on this...Re-read George's statement..."It's silly. It's a silly movie" then keep reading to this..."People thought Star Wars was silly, too, but it wasn't."...So as I see it, George is actually putting Spidey 3 up there with Star Wars...Not belittling it(Meaning that also in the future, people thought Spidey 3 was silly, too, but it wasn't)

Well I actually saw Spidey 3 and it was the worst of the three movies, sure James Franco was so hot, and Tobey turned emo, especially his sexy dancing, was so amazing, but there were so many villains and stuff, it was hard to keep up. Lucas should not have insulted spidey cuz star wars wasnt that amazing, but it still was not the best movie

I know people will hate me for saying this, but I could care less: Star Wars is the most overrated, silly, stupid, series I have ever seen....Lucas's opinion is nothing.

we don't have to agree with his opinion--but he is entitled to one.
and to me, much of Spiderman was silly--but the action sequences overshadowed the silly parts. the second Spiderman is the crowning one of the series so far and far outshines #3--but then that's my opinion.
as far as Lucas is concerned, i enjoyed the Star Wars films--but sometimes (especially with the relationship dialogue) the writing is pretty bad.

he's the recent Goblin. verify the movie credit. verify the DVD assertion. verify the toys. all of them consult with him by fact the recent Goblin. He surely is green Goblin II merely like interior the comics, however the writers or manufacturers (I forget approximately which) did no longer opt to have 2 characters named green Goblin so that they renamed him New Goblin. Hobgoblin is a diverse character. there have been 5 (a minimum of) diverse persons that have portrayed Hobgoblin interior the comics and none of them is/grow to be an Osborn.

after making the last three star wars movies, he shouldn't criticize anyone's movies. while i thought that the 3rd spider man movie was the worst of the three, it was still better than the last three star wars movies. i agree with the person who said that american graffiti sucked.[bad].
