Is the only way by webcam or can I use my camcorder?

Depends on your PC as well as your camcorder.

Most PCs do NOT have any video inputs at all. The exceptions are the ones with VIVO video cards (video in video out = VIVO), those with TV tuner cards, those with external capture devices like Dazzle Creator, or those XP Media Center PCs.

If you have one of the above, you are in luck, but what you need to get depends on what you have, as you need to match up the ports on your PC with your Camcorder.

If you don't, then you need to get an external device, either a capture box like Dazzle Creator or a TV Tuner box with extra inputs.

Any way, your camcorder matters too. Likely it's an analog camcorder, so it will likely have RCA video out and audio out, though some may have S-video. Get the right cable to go from camcorder to PC, and usually there's software that came with the video interface to do the capture.

sure of course you can use your camcorder!!!! there'll be a wire-type usb thing which lets u upload files into ur PC
