I consider myself a HUGE My Chemical Romance fan...but I really have no idea what the answer would be, here. I've actually wondered about that, myself, but was never able to come up with an answer.

I've heard people say things like, "MCR was started because Gerard saw the Twin Towers fall, and he wrote a song about it; he's patriotic, so he supports Bush!", but that's bull; Gerard saw loss of life and tragedy, and 'Skylines and Turnstiles' reflects that, not anything to do with patriotism.

Honestly...I have no idea. But if I find any quotes on that by him, or anything, I'll come back and let you know. :)
