A friend or family who's in the hospital confined?

some good food (WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THEIR DIET)...
any food is better than hospital food - just make sure they can eat it...
an ipod, discman or walkman with cds... book... some type of puzzle book (crossword, etc.), cute nightlight (the mini lava lamps are cool), dvd player to watch movies on the tv in their room., laptop so they can keep up with Yahoo! Answers...

I remember when I was stuck in the hospital I was bored...so books, magazines and games...you know the electronic kind...even a laptop is good....a journal or paper to sketch with...these are just a few things that I would of liked to have when I was stuck for 4 days!

Depends on the persons tastes n condition. Most likely magazines, flowers, a card.

perhaps bring a practiced song and dance to entertain them and make them shoot their milkshake out their nose .... sending their ill bodies into shock .... resulting in a longer hospital stay .... giving you even more time to practice a new song and dance routine ...

A coloring book and crayons, magazines, puzzle books, a pair of comfy pajamas and slippers, or some snacks if they can have them.

a great thing to do is to keep them company. if you want to bring material things then just try to think of something that'll bring them joy.
