All the political slandering of the Republicans and Democrats?

We are all Americans first and we are all showing our *** infront of the world with the political angling.

I hate war, too. But if D-Day, or Shiloh or many of the wars in the Revolutionary War ( we won that one in only 12 years) was shown on CNN or NBC would we be calling for our troops to come home?

Would we have allowed the press to bash Roosevelt? Or Lincoln? Or Washington?

Where is our collective togetherness?

Let's all look at Europe after WW2. or Japan?

Why CAN'T the Middle East have demoracy? Never has the world seen so much progress in so many governments since the USA came along and fostered the goals of Human Rights, Aid for the Poor, and protection for those who cannot protect themselves.

That's what is great about Americans, we can do it......and if you don't think so, why?

Are you too self-centered? Too political? Too filled with hatred for your fellow Americans? Too filled with rage and anger?

I, too think that there is too much hate and anger being spewed on here between the political parties.

I don't think we should be in Iraq. I think we were misled to get the votes needed to go to war. Now that being said, we are there and we have made a mess. Any one who says it is time to leave needs to tell everyone just exactly how we are going to do that. We can not leave that country the way it is now. Iraq needs to be able to stand on its own feet and take care of it's own business before we can even think about pulling out of there.

The first candidate that says they have a viable plan for achieving that goal and can convince me of it, has my vote. Whether they are Democrat or Republican makes no difference to me. Heck, I am a Floridian and I even voted for Jeb. I don't care what party a candidate is affiliated with as long as they are looking at things honestly and have a plan to resolve some of these issues.

So lets stop spreading hate and anger and lets all try to come up with a plan to get some things accomplished without all this name calling and venom.

dude, you're full of ****.

a) Bush is not comparable to Roosevelt, Lincoln or Washing ton. He is, without a doubt, the single worst U.S. president ever.

b) The mess in Iraq is not WW2 and it is not the Revolutionary War. It's an occupation of a foreign land that was never any threat to the U.S.

c) Many in the middle east don't want us to impose our idea of democracy on them and those who do want democracy are not getting it from the U.S.

d) We CAN make a positive in the world but we don't. Where are we in Darfur or in Ethiopia?

When the American Way becomes something other than greed and colonialism, I will support it. Until then, why should I?

I am a democrat, SECOND, a U.S. citizen, FIRST!

I fight sedition every day, will vote democrat, but not for anyone who has been seditious.

It's nice to see a fellow American.

I had enough back even before President Nixon's time.

Oh, President Nixon chose his fate, opposing a President's goals/policies and acting seditiously are two seperate things.

Keep speaking up, folks. It shouldn't matter what party you see being used as an excuse. They aren't. They can claim to be democrats and republicans until they are blue in the face, but if they are undermining our country, then they aren't even loyal citizens.

They have free speech. So do we. Face them every time.

The wars in the Middle East, Iraq included, aren't about tyranny or a particular type of government. They're about religion, and until the world admits that fact, it won't ever stop.

No. The problem is that terrorists have invaded American forums like Yahoo Answers. We need to let them know that we don't buy into their anti American propaganda.
