Who else is tired of people claiming that a black avatar is really a white person trying to stir up trouble or that a white avatar is really a black person trying to stir up trouble? I know that people do indeed do this, but it's rather annoying that so many people refuse to accept that racism is a problem on both "sides". People should accept the fact that there are both whites AND blacks on Yahoo answers who are spewing racist nonsense.

I totally understand you guys who are making the point that it's often very obvious when someone is portraying him/her self as another race in an effort to cause trouble. But my point is that, often times, it isn't clear whether or not a person is doing this. And I really don't think it should be assumed that a person is doing this. The only assumption should be the obvious- that the person, regardless of race, is a racist. Honestly, does it really even matter if a white person is using a black avatar or if a black person is using a white avatar? Isn't racism the issue regardless of who is perpetuating it? I think so.

In a lot of cases it's obvious who is really white, like that joke of a human being that answered first. "Real" racists wouldn't act like many do here. Reality TV has taught us that some people will do ANYTHING for attention and that includes saying anything and everything about their own race. What do they care? I think it's right to assume that they aren't the race they portray, as they probably aren't.

The sad part is that these people actually breathe the same air that you do. Isn't that something? I firmly believe that mankind is totally incapable of eradicating racism. The only person that can put a halt to racism and prejudice is God Almighty himself! As intelligent and ingenious as we are, and we are very intelligent and ingenious, capable of almost the incredible, we can not and will not eradicate something as mindless as racism. It's rooted too deep! God help us and that's my personal feelings.
