People who are top points getters, I am talking about 50,000 or more.
Are they smart, obsessed, pathetic, or nerds with no life....have a lot of time to waste, need to be validated, or just losers with no other method of feeling important? What describes them to you...I am running a research project of internet use with my class, and would appreciate your help.

I'm still level 1 and almost level 2. It takes A LOT OF TIME! I wonder what the heck they must do with their lives. I think they probably have no life becuase that's just too much time on the computer for me. They need to find something more creative to do with their time.

I personally think they have a program that rates and votes answers 24/7. I have been on here since Jan. 2006. I was off writing my 360 for about 4mos. I just started back 1 mo. ago.
I have seen people do 12,000 pts, in a week. Do your math, It is humanly impossible to do that. Even with 100% Best Answers.
They do it I think because they are very competitive and need recognition. It really hurts no one. The Site is still fun for everyone.

I am a long way from 50,000 but I'm not discouraged. I admire the high point scorers.

very competitve people who need to be #1 in everything & put all their energy into stuff like this. My best friend is on Answers too and we like having a goal of getting to the next level.

I think they're just people who are looking for answers and helping others find the ones they need! I think they're great and I hope to be one soon!

I don't think that they don't have a life and all, but I do think that they like to help people by answering their questions- which is not bad.

They are mostly smart. I mean, if they know a lot to get the sign, then they must be smart. But to get that much points, then you must be obsessed.
