Well, if I'm washing the front of my body, then I face away. If I'm washing the back of my body, then I face towards. But why do you want to know? And why am I answering this question? ;p

I face toward, away and sideways depending on what I am doing. Mostly, I face away because the stream of hot water on my back feels so good and relaxing.

Depends, but generally away, more out of habit than anything. When i was little, i'd face towards the showerhead, and lean my head back to rinse the shampoo off. The foam always got in my eyes. So i started facing away, and putting my head down. No foam in my eyes.
I don't have the problem anymore, but i still face away. Though i face towards it when i rinse soap off.

Away for the most part but I do face it every once in a while. I have a fear of running water so I prefer not to look at it.

My back is to it, or else it hits my face, and hurts. But my shower is really big. It is like 6 by 6, so I have a lot of space to move around.
