Ok, this is a difficult opinion question, but in the movie, the web site says Zombie is going to have the ever silent Michael Myers speak, to me that is disrespecting the whole halloween series, especially the original, have him as a quiet, menacing stalking figure is the way horror fans should remember him, not as a talking walking creature to poke riducule at, any opinions?

I saw them filming that movie back in the winter of 2005. Let's just say there's a lot of excess blood, gore, and gunshots. It will be your typical B Movie sequel...definitely not a classic like the original.

I agree with you that to change a character so drastically is a bastardization of the franchise and really disrespectful to the original filmmakers' intentions. That's the problem I have when new writers and directors come in and shoot remakes and sequels to classic films...or just to films in general. They don't have the same emotional attachment to the original film as the original filmmakers did: this time around it's all about capitalizing on a fan favorite character, so they take a lot of liberties and creative freedom that they probably shouldn't.

i will't freaking wait to confirm it. i'm a extensive Halloween/ Michael Myers fan. i enjoyed the unique a million,2 yet i think of that Rob's remake would be an extremely exciting take because of the fact its provides extra in to Michael's previous. i do no longer understand i loved each and every of the Halloweens different than the third on season of the witch.

Well, they're going back to his childhood years so I guess he's going to have to speak a word or two, right? I watched the first Halloween when I was like 8 or 9 and he's been the main character that chases me in my nightmares ever since so I hope Rob Zombie is going to bring that horror back and into the minds of kids who have no idea who Michael Myers is.

He is supposed to say boo as an adult which could be quite cool actually (if it is built up correctly).

It should be good because their is more intelligent insight and realism then most modern horror films,it's gonna be like Henry Portrait of serial killer meets Halloween.
the movie supposed to go from 30 minutes of intense gritty drama (a child becomes a killer) to 30 minutes of regular slasher (but done more realistic and brutal then most others) to somewhere the audience is not familier (Rob won't say)

I have only 1 comment about the "new" Halloween, May It rest in peace! Totally unnecessary! (well OK, 2 comments!)

I don't know...If he speaks, that is questionable...I agree that he shouldn't...One thing is for sure...Michael is going to be BIG...Its going to be Tyler Mane, Sabertooth from the XMen films as Michael Myers...
