Like you are watching an argument and someone says that one thing to push it over the edge and its like "UH OH I better get out of their way!"

You know those moments even like in grade school---

Oooooooooooooooooooohhhh!

Not the last time but one situation I remember in particular was I was shopping at an outdoor swapmeet and this guy tried to bring back a car stereo - the guy at the booth refused to take it back. The guy with the stereo pulled out a gun, I got the F out of there.

Sometimes you can tell as I did when a little goading a teacher would not mind but there comes a time when the you know what hits the fan .Somedays you are hoping that when IT does hit the fan you are not leading the way ,it could be quite disastrous and very very inconvenient.

Not quite an argument...but just as good:

We were on our boat, my brother-in-law ahead of us in his fishing boat, my husbands parents behind us in the pontoon, in a no-wake zone. There was a small john boat in front of us with four people in it not wearing life jackets. We hoped, but feared, that my stupid brother-in-law would have the common sense not to "take off" right after he passed them, but NO.

We watched it like it was in slow motion, he takes off, we see the huge wave it creates...it catches the john boat....and poof! The boat flips over, all four are in the water, the boat motor is still running, two of them are stuck UNDER the boat. We spent the rest of the day fishing them out of the water and pulling the damaged (and rented) boat to shore. When "IT" really hit the fan is the anger they had for "that guy" who flipped them over and we pretended not to know him. My b-in law kept calling while we had these people on the boat and I kept subtly telling him to stay away, such as telling him we would meet up with him later. He kept travelling towards us, and these people were on our boat getting angrier every time they would see him. I honestly thought he didn't know he flipped them....after all, wouldn't he say something when he called?

The second time "IT" was about to hit the fan was later that day to find out he knew he flipped them over and just kept on going. He didn't believe he could do anything at that point. It ranks only second to the time he wasn't paying attention on the water and came around a corner (three minutes later) where we had stopped and rammed into us at full speed. Thought I was going to die that day....either by his boat which I saw IN MY FACE when I turned around or by it sinking and being eaten by gators.

when a co-worker was confronted about a statement she made. Oooohhh it wasn't pretty. She said she quit, but didn't really mean it. The boss took her at her word and she was out. It was a rough time for all who worked with her.
