When you become a Radiologist do you also have to write the reports for the x-rays, ultrasounds, etc. you take!?

The above answerer is correct. Just an FYI for the asker: a radiologist is a doctor who interpret the images and reports the findings. A radiologic technologist / radiographer / x-ray tech is the one who takes the images.

Usually, a technologist performs the test. The Radiologist reads, interprets the results and writes the reports. However, these reports are not like writing school reports. They are a few sentences long with the important info. A healthy patient's report may be just one sentence stating that the results are unremarkable. An abnormal report is longer, and may even suggest treatment or further collaborative testing.
