First: Thanks for answering my last question, and I would love to suppose that I inspired you to ask this one.
Second: I am gay, so gay, 200% gay, and here are my answers:
1- Never
2- None
3- None
I ALWAYS get "Jesus can 'heal' you from your 'evil' ways". But I ignore these bigoted comments. I don't need healing, THEY DO.

1. No. Never would either.
2. No. Never have.
4. No. Never have.
People going after kids are pedophiles and that has nothing to do with being gay, most pedophiles are straight anyways.
(No, I live out in a very rural area in the South. I don't really have to worry about neighbors.)
Bonus question: Well, just about every single Christian I have ever met actually. They think it's their god given mission to "straighten" me out. Of course, I confuse them because I'm bisexual, not lesbian.

Well, it seems that a lot of so-called Christians and other religious folks have really great sex drives. Unfortunately, they suppress their natural sex drives, and this makes them very angry people.
When they get angry, they look for an easy target. Gays are the easy target in the religious hunting practice gallery of life.
Religious people don't have a monoply on being 'control freaks' but many of them have raised it to an art form. Especially when it comes to their children, this is true.
Consequently, religious folks want to prevent their childen from really growing up. To do this, religious folks try to isolate their children from the real world.
This never works, because children have inner wisdom which drives children to want to be themselves.
A regularly recurring percentaage of all people in all places at all times turns out gay, whether it's suppressed or encouraged.
This really angers the sexually repressed religious folks, who want to make thier children just as screwed up and neurotic, as they are.
Again, gays are an easy target: For example, my son has a natural sex dirve, but he prefers other boys -- the religious person would either blame themselves in some fit of self-flagellating religious narcissism, or they will blame the high school art teacher or the Methodist Choir leader, or the local gay priest, for supposedly 'corrupting' their son.
Heres a newsflash: Little Johnny was going to be gay, no matter what anyone else said or did, end of story.

3. there was this priest who lived a couple of houses down the street and he was charged with trying to convert one of his altar boys to homosexuality... the problem was, the boy was some 9 years old or so. Old perv ended up in prison.
bonus: some 2 in person, apart from that at least 5 per every gay-related question on Yahoo answers.

I hope you are OK that I wanted to answer this too!
I'm straight with 3 kids (ages 15, 10 and 9)--
My hair stylist is gay and owns her salon with her wife (they got to SF before the state shut that down), and I take my kids there too, and my kids know their "status".
We have several family friends who are gay and my kids know and love them.
I have a best gay guy friend.
We all know (my kids and I) that sexual preference is not "catching" no matter what someone else says or does. I never try to make someone something they are not.
Oh, and the kicker to all this is that I am a devout Christian and raising my children the same. Its about loving your neighbor and showing people the love of God, not fire and brimstone.
I feel we are ALL children of God, no matter what.
I'm sorry that there are so many bashers out there... They bother me too.

1) My sexual attraction is towards other adult men, not children; the thought of a sexual attraction towards a child is as equally disgusting to me as it is to most others.
2) I have never known anyone to have a desire to make another person gay, whether they be an adult or a kid. Gay people know that sexual attraction cannot be changed; we do not try to change other people's attractions despite always being told that we can change ours.
3) I am unaware of any such thing.
Bonus Question: I am regularly told on Yahoo that I could change if I wanted to; since I am told this by people who listen to something or someone that has no physical presence while ignoring the voices of people similar to me, their ranting and raving falls upon deaf ears since those people have no credibility.

1. No. Pedophiles are attracted to kids. My boyfriend looks younger than he is, but he is 50 years old. He doesn't look 12, for which I am enduringly grateful. Maturity is more my style.
2. No. None of my gay friends (most of whom are well beyond 40 years old) are attracted to "kids" in any fashion, and are not inclined to try to "turn" anyone gay, much less try to come on to snotty-nosed, drama-prone children or teenagers who cannot maintain a decent conversation about global events or music history.
3. Because I'm a psychotherapist, I have professionally met several pedophiles. Almost all of them have been straight and have molested their own children, younger siblings, or nieces or nephews. None of them have been predatory pedophiles who sought out non-relatives. In fact, most children have much more to fear from their own relatives than they do from a predatory pedophile. And this is often the biggest shock.
(A word to the wise: Any history of sexual abuse within a family raises the risk of later sexual abuse, so if it's occurred anywhere in the family tree within 3 generations, teach your children good boundaries and the difference between good touch and bad touch.)

B. Yes, one person - he's generally a nice guy - if a little misguided. Once when drunk at a family function he said something about straightening me out. I told him to shut the fcuk up and he's never done anything like that again (in front of me anyway).

1) Constantly. I stalk them from the bushes with great shoes, a pink pair of boxers, and pictures of Cher. Ah, I love coveting little minds!
2) My friends stalk with me. Those children can be hard to covvert at times. The more of us, the better. Either way, we get them gay.
3) God
Bonus: Probably in the area of 85%.
Bonus for you: We are standing in your backyard with our conversion rod. You are surrounded. Surrender or you will be tormented in hellfire eternally.
P.S. Ugh, please don't think I meant any of that in a pedophilic way. You were not asking about BEING attracted as many people here seem to think but about conversion. Bigots do it all the time with their children. When I say "convert them" I mean make them sit and watch the gay-inspired programming like those chimps forced to watch horrific videos in "28 Days Later" to enrage them. It isn't much different that forcing them to be soldiers of the Lord in Jesus camps.
