It may not rupture, but it will cause pain, bleeding, and hormonal irregularities.. Please get it removed if you can. Good luck.

I had the same problem went into Hospitol on the Friday and because the Cyst wouldnt change size i had the operation on the Monday.
They removed the cyst with keyhole surg. 3 little tiny scars i got now.
As farest i know they can give you medi to shrink the cyst if that doesnt help they have to remove.
But best thing ask your GP what would be best.

i just found i have a cyst on my ovaries too mine was 2.7mm or cm the doctor put me on yaz birth control pill to shrink it the pill made me bleed so i stopped taking after 2 1/2 weeks when i went back to tthe dr come to find out the cyst started to shrink but i didnt know... but anyway long story short im getting surgery on jun 6 to remove it the dr told me that i would have to be out from work for like 2 weeks
