i own a shop, and try replacing the pcv, valve on it before you do anything else, when this gets stopped up or goes bad it will cause it to do this,i don't think at this time you need a new engine if it runs ok and doesn't smoke any ,but try replacing the pcv valve ,that might cure it,good luck with it.

You may find that it's just bypass from the emission controls on the motor. The oil vapour from the engine is recirculated through the carburettor, burnt and discharged via the exhaust. Being a vapour it gets everywhere including the filter.

The oil is not leaking, it is being pushed up from the bottom end...The reason could be that you have broken or collapsed rings on one or more of the pistons. Or you could have cylinder head trouble, like bad valve stem seals or worn guides. But more than likely it is due to blowby..But you don't need a new engine..just get that one rebuilt...Have you had a compression test done?..I would like to know more...email me back...gotspeed7883

Well the only thing that should be going into the carburetor is fuel. are you sure is oil ? No your engine am pretty sure should be fine the carburetor probably needs some maintenance! have it checked out by a qualified technician.
