I have 7 framed mirrors throughout the house and a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle of a Portuguese palace. It took quite a while to complete, but was so pretty when finished. I decided to frame it and hang it on the wall. It's the first thing you see when you enter my home by the front door.

A song called Ellen The Fair...
The only song about Ellen I have ever seen in my long life. A very nice yahooer emailed it to me. I framed it up and it looks quite nice on the wall by my puter.

My son's letter from President Clinton regarding his Presidential Award for Academic Excellence. That's framed on the wall as well.
He has two, and I am mighty proud of him!

just for future reference. cement is usually never used in building because its very weak. concrete on the other hand is usually used in foundations. concrete is just a mixture of cement, agrigate(rocks), sometimes some sand and water. its much stronger than just plain cement. but to answer your quesiton...... punch it. not with your fist but as if you were slaming your fist on a table. if it is concrete, it will just be a dead thud. if it is wood it will be a little less dead sounding and you may hear a sound comming from the entire beam. the sound on a concrete wall will be only where your fist hit and no where else.

When my daughter was born, a friend of mine cross stitched a bib with pretty decorations & my child's birth stats on it. She framed it for me so I could display it for all to see. It's one of my favorite things I have on the walls.

My uncle was in Japan and he brought home a pipe where you put wine in it and something else and smoke it. It has been in my family for over 60 years and it is in a frame.
