That's a bit hard considering there are many rock bands that deserve a title but my favorite is Black Sabbath when Ozzy was still in the band.

apparently everybody that has answered does not know what rock music is. pearl jam is the greatest rock band ever. nirvana, metallica, ramones, coming in a very distant 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. if anyone does not belive me check out usa today. pearl jam has stayed true to thier music, while never selling out, redefinig thier music, and putting on the best concerts at very affordable prices. plus having one of greatest albums ever of any genre of music. ten. wake up people.
