I feel like I've seen a million other singers like her before. Nothin' new, you know? I want somebody fresh like Jordin or Blake to win. Kind of hoping that Melinda goes next week, but I'm thinking the people who voted for Lakisha will be voting for Melinda or Jordin.

moonsister, I love both Jordin AND Blake! In an ideal world I'd love for Blake to win, but if that doesn't happen I'm perfectly happy with Jordin. They're both awesome!

Kelly Clarkson was only 18 when she won, and she continues to kick a s s to this day. Jordin is 17. her youth is an asset. She's going to be a big star.

I am so sick of the judges falling all over Melinda!! What happened to the age limit AI had? Melinda is 29 and looks 35! She looks frumpy. And that coy act of hers drives me nuts. She is NO AI Pop Star. And why is she even on there? Professional singers should not be allowed. And she has her 'team' with her to take care of everything. I'm happy with either Blake or Jordin winning.

there is no doubt that she is a good singer but honestly think that she does not have the 'it' factor...she has this sorry to say a little bit boring personality...i hope and pray that blake wins but if not jordin is ok.. although a lot of people are still old school so i'm not really sure if melinda will be the next one out...

It's sad how so many people have judge her of not being able to win Amer Idol because of her looks, however she has a Great singing voice that's rarely ever is pitchy,but I know what you mean that her personality is not spunky or she's not lively enough to be a pop star. I like Melinda's voice ,Jordin's personality and Blake creativity.

Melinda has an amazing voice and it's natural.

Can Jordin's mouth get any bigger? She's too young and not experienced enough with her own voice to win anything. She should stay in school and take voice lessons and learn not to scream.

she has a good voice but it's not just a good voice anymore which is unfortunate... you need the whole package which includes confidence which apparently she lacks. everytime simon compliments her she's like "Oh really? I'm a good singer? Omg, I can't believe you feel that way!" Hello, you're a background singer. Sometimes I believe that it's fake but then she looks so innocent. I don't know if she can last after AI. That's why I want Blake to win. He has this great voice contemporary vibe, he's young, he's rebellious, he's extremely sexy. I think he has what it takes to be the American Idol (and actually have a hit single).
