Stub-burn

Contrary to what someone else said, it isn't a silly question! Language scholars know there are differences in common words spoken in different parts of the country/world. So, wherever you are, it might be, but it might not be the same way many other people say the word you picked.

I also would say "stubrn" which is what most people have said.

In most places you'll hear it pronounced more like "burn" or 'bern' than 'born'
so:
stuh-bern
stress on first syllable
