I'm doing a teaching project for history and my topic is on the three mile island disaster, and I need help firnding an anticipatory ( something to get the students attention and draw them into the lesson) Please help I don't know what to do it can be elaborate or very simple put it has to be intresting.

Use the Simpsons cartoon opening to get them stirred up. In the beginning, Homer is working at a nuclear plant that is similarly constructed to three mile island. You could use that and get their attention. Play around with the bouncing piece of fuel that Homer drops or the three-eyed fish that they use a lot.
Just a quick thought, but it would get me laughing.
