I recently had a map turtle in a 55, I bought a new 20 and want to keep discus and angels in the 55 the angels have been living with the turtle unharmed for 6 months but discus are more sensitive,is there any prep that should go along with preparing the tank for the discus?

I wouldn't do it personally. After having kept and bred discus for several years I can't really recommend discus be kept with hardy any other fish. People commonly report keeping them well with angels, but if you check around with serious discus keepers you will find for every success story there is a disaster story as well. In my opinion the turtle also wouldn't make a good tank mate for discus because the discus are so very sensitive to water conditions and really do need a peaceful environment as well.

I think you should cycle all your tanks and then put the dicus after the angelfish had settled down.
